I’m a 62 year old mom whose son of 41 is bi-polar and ADHD. I really want to help him, but he won’t take his medicine, smokes marijuana, and has had violent rages, where he knocked his step dad down (he’s 65).

There’s an eight year old he has custody of and swears he’ll kill me if I take custody. I’ve tried everything, including talking to his doctor.

I don’t want him homeless, what can I do? Please give me some advice, I’m devastated. He’s not working, no income, and I don’t know where to go for help supporting them. My husband and I are both disabled on Social Security. Please, please help me.
